Chestnut cake

Ingredients :

  • 250g of chestnut flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 200g of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

Preparation :

  1. Pour the chestnut flour into a bowl.
  2. Add sugar and baking powder, mix and form a well. Pour in the milk and oil.
  3. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Add the yolks into the well, and mix.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff, and then gently fold into the preparation.
  5. Place in the oven (gas mark 6) for about 30 minutes.
