Chestnut cake


Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes



  • 250 g chestnut flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder


  1. Pour the chestnut flour into a bowl.
  2. Add sugar and baking powder, mix and form a well. Pour in the milk and oil.
  3. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Add the yolks into the well and mix.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff then delicately blend them into the preparation.
  5. Place in the oven (gas mark 6) for about 30 minutes.
