Corsican fig pie


Preparation time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes



  • 1 kg figs with green peel
  • 1 puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 20 g butter



  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Wash the figs, drain them off well and take of the stalks. Then, cut the figs in slices.
  3. Spread the pastry in a tart tin and place delicately the fig slices.
  4. Spread the honey above it and put some bits of butter.
  5. Finish by dusting the top with sugar.
  6. Let the pie cook for about 25 minutes.
