A charming village from where you can make out the sea to the east and Mount San Petrone to the north.
The interior decor of San Stefano parish church (18th century), whose front wall faces over the sea, is the work of painter Gherardi. Legend has it that « Simone Dominus de Corsica », otherwise known as Conte Pazzo, whose existence seems to date from the 10th century, had two Castelli, one located above the village, the other at the opposite end, by the river, « A Torra a Calzeretta ». There remain very few traces of these Castelli.
